We saved this episode for much later in the season of 50 For 50, both to distance it from our episode on Tupac Shakur, and also because only had a couple of albums to his name, and just one released while he was still alive.
But Mike and I have had the Biggie and Tupac conversation over the years being that we ourselves are physically on opposite coasts. Pound-for-pound (and I’m not talking about his physical weight), no rapper has had as big of an impact as The Notorious B.I.G.
We went deep on his short career, but even in the little time he with us, his impact was B.I.G.
