Trying to whittle down your favorite songs of one of your favorite artists to just five can be torturous. Obviously, not physically torturous, but maybe mentally so.
Mike isn't the biggest Tupac Shakur fan, though he did enjoy a lot of his music. Me? Sheesh. He was the singular rap artist I resonated with through college and even after he passed away. There was just something about that dude.
As someone who is nearly twice the age that Tupac was when he passed, I can look at him, and his music a little differently now. I may not blast it as loudly, and as irresponsibly for that matter, as I did when I was younger, but there are still songs that definitely sit with me like they once did.
